Our latest Year in Review 2025-2026 is now published, capturing the key activities, impact and future focus of our work across Healthcare Science in Scotland.
This year reflects on:
- Our development of the national Education, Skills and Competence frameworks.
- Our continued support to the HCS workforce, including 20 new Trainee Clinical Scientists, 199 trainees tracked through quality assurance and over 70 bursaries awarded.
- Improving understanding of Healthcare Science careers and raising the profession’s profile.
- Innovation in education, particularly work to review and enhance genomics education and CPD.
