National Workforce and Education Conference 2026

05

In April 2026, colleagues from across health, social care and the wider public sector came together for the National Workforce and Education Conference 2026. Held over two days, the conference explored the theme “Collaborate. Innovate. Transform: Delivering change towards improving health, social care and other public services in Scotland”, showcasing innovative approaches to education, workforce development and digital transformation.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for professionals to share learning, exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration across disciplines, while also reflecting on the opportunities presented through the transition to Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland).
A highlight of this year's programme was the inclusion of the Four Nations AI in Education Conference, which sparked inspiring discussions on the future role of artificial intelligence in learning and development across health and social care.
