GMC National Training Survey 2026

The General Medical Council (GMC) runs the National Training Survey each year to gain a comprehensive picture of the experiences of doctors in training and trainers across the UK.  The survey is a core part of the GMC’s work to monitor and report on the quality of postgraduate medical education and training.

The survey is also a core part of Public Services Delivery (PSD) Scotland’s Quality workstream, supporting work to improve the quality of postgraduate medical education and training across Scotland.  Your engagement with the survey is therefore very much appreciated.

The National Training Survey is now open and will close on Wednesday 6th May 2026.
