BMJ Best Practice Comorbidities Tool Feedback

NHSScotland staff have access to the BMJ Best Practice resource through the Knowledge Network. Within our subscription two topics have an additional comorbidities tool built into them. 

The treatment algorithm sections in both the COVID-19, and Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) topics contain a comorbidities option. This tool allows staff to highlight relevant comorbid conditions and the treatment algorithm will automatically update to display useful information regarding patient care and treatment. 

Until the end of February the Knowledge Management and Discover team are gathering feedback on this tool. If you have used it and can provide feedback, then a brief form is available at: BMJ Best Practice Comorbidities feedback form. 

Access to BMJ Best Practice is password free on NHS premises. Outside of these networks staff will need their NHSScotland OpenAthens username and password.
