Hints and Tips on Producing your Personal Development Plan
In a recent GDC survey on CPD, more than 30% of those responding said they would need more help with developing their Personal Development Plan (PDP). Having a PDP is a GDC requirement for all dental professionals to drive forward and target their CPD. A PDP, together with a reflection on any CPD undertaken, is an essential and compulsory part of the GDC eCPD requirements. At the end of each cycle the GDC undertakes a random sampling of the PDPs of that cycle's registrants to check compliance.

9. Identify any further training you need or wish to do as a result of undertaking this CPD.
10. Use the Sharepack section to share your portfolio with anyone who requires to see it.
Use of the NES portfolio will keep all the CPD you have undertaken, together with your reflections and documents in one place. The portfolio also gives advice and help on completion of each section. The portfolio is private to you and cannot be accessed by anyone but you unless you wish to share it.
NES will continue to provide advice on how to create and develop your PDP. The recording of a recent webinar on how to develop your PDP is available on Portal TV.
