The Deputy Chief Dental Officer wrote to dental teams in March to advise on the use of Midazolam 10mg/2ml ampoules for buccal administration in emergency dental boxes. https://www.scottishdental.org/use-of-midazolam-10mg-2ml-ampoules-for-buccal-administration-in-emergency-dental-boxes/ 

On request of Scottish Government NES has created a training video on midazolam buccal administration to help dental teams familiarise themselves with this delivery method.
