DRAMeRS - Research with Vocational Dental Practitioners: Update

A study involving Vocational Dental Practitioners (VDPs) is due to begin in the next few months. This study is called DRAMeRS (Diabetes Risk Assessment: Medical Referral or Signposting) and will involve VDPs conducting risk assessments for type 2 diabetes with their patients. The aim of the study is to ascertain whether signposting or direct referral is more effective at facilitating contact between high-risk patients and a healthcare professional. The study team will begin contacting vocational training practices and VDPs soon, inviting them to take part in the study.
