The 'Training in Practice Targeting Antibiotic Prescribing' (TiPTAP) trial is a valuable and exciting nationwide trial. Since 2021 the trial has been delivering and evaluating an important new training component on dental antibiotic prescribing which has been delivered alongside infection control and decontamination training. We are now conducting interviews with team members from participating practices to gather their views and experience of being included in the trial. This information is fundamental in understanding and evaluating the trial outcomes and will help inform the future of in-practice training.
