Prevention and Management of Dental Caries in Children – Post Publication Survey  

Following on from the pre-publication survey related to the Prevention and Management of Dental Caries in Children guidance that was distributed earlier this year, a post-publication survey has now been developed. The aim of the survey is to support the implementation of the guidance by giving practitioners the opportunity to share their thoughts now that they have had the chance to read and use the updated guidance. The survey will be sent to primary care dentists, therapists and hygienists in late October.  

Public Perceptions of Sustainability in Dentistry  

The Clinical Effectiveness team are supporting a Masters student from the University of Dundee to conduct a research project exploring public perceptions of sustainability in dentistry. The project invites members of the public to complete a short online survey that asks them about their views and behaviours regarding sustainability in general and in relation to dentistry. Data collection began in the Dundee Dental Hospital and Research School in August, with further dates scheduled in October.
