Combined Practice Inspection: Survey to inform review and update

Every three years all dental practices that provide NHS Primary Care Dental services in Scotland are inspected by their regional Health Board to assure the quality and safety of the services they provide. Inspections are underpinned by the Combined Practice Inspection (CPI).
To help ensure the CPI process and checklist continue to be fit for purpose and meet the needs of all stakeholders, the CPI Working Group are undertaking a comprehensive review and update in 2025/2026.
To inform the review and update, we are inviting you to feedback your views and experiences of the inspection process and checklist to the working group. A consultation survey is available here: Combined Practice Inspection Consultation Survey 2025
Please complete the survey by 10 November.
Your contribution would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact scottishdental.cep@nes.scot.nhs.uk
